WynPUF^® is our brand for polyurethane foam additives. Viscoelastic foams are characterized by a delayed recovery after compression and very low elasticity (ball rebound). The selection of foam stabilizers can be a tricky task for viscoelastic foam as the processing windows is usually relatively narrow. The adjustment for viscoelastic polyurethane foam, also referred to as memory foam or low resilience foam, is used mainly in home and office furnishings, although a considerable amount of work has been conducted for automotive applications. During a compression cycle, viscoelastic foams exhibit slow recovery and thus, high hysteresis. Viscoelastic foam also typically has low wall rebound values. They are produced from MDI, TDI and other mixtures of these isocyanates. XH-2902 is equivalent to B-8002 in international markets.

WynPUF^®XH-2902is a non-hydrolyzable silicone surfactant for polyurethane flexible foam.

Typical properties

Appearance: Straw-color clear liquid

Viscosity at 25°C：50-200 cst

Density@25 °C：1.01+0.02 g/cm³

Water content: ＜0.2%

Key Features and Benefits

● XH-2902 is low potency surfactant, with very wide processing latitude.

● XH-2902 can be used for high density flexible foam, usually the density range is 40-80 kg/m³ and also can be used in viscoelastic foam.

● The foam from XH-2902 has better breathability and very small density difference.

Levels of Use (additive as supplied)

WynPUF^®XH-2902 is recommended for polyurethane flexible foam. The detail dosage in the formulation depends on several parameters. For example, density, the temperature of the raw material and the machine conditions.

Package and storage stability

200 kg drums or 1000kg IBC

WynPUF^®XH-2902 should, if possible, be stored at room temperature. Under these conditions and in original sealed drums, has a shelf-life of 24 months.
