Silicone wetting agents/Silicone surfactant SL-3245

short description:

WynCoat® Like all surfactants, a substrate wetting additive is a molecule having both a hydrophilic and a hydrophobic part. The additive’s molecular structure determines that the orientation will drastically lower the surface tension of the liquid. Wetting additives provide multifunctional benefits in a range of applications including inks and coatings. SL-3245 optimize flow and leveling, enable the elimination of surface defects and reduce surface tension.

SL-3245 is equivalent to Tego-245 in international markets.

Product Details

WynCoat® SL-3245 wetting and anti-crater additive that can help paint or ink wetting above the surface of a variety of substrates, even on a low surface energy substrate to prevent shrinkage and uneven surfaces defects.

Key Features and benefits

It is silicone surfactant for waterborne and solvent-borne formulation. It provides powerful reduction in surface tension which leads to excellent substrate wetting, leveling and anti-crater. It does not increase surface slip and does not impair recoatability.
