WynCoat® SL-4162 silicone additive is a primary hydroxyl-functional polydimethyl siloxane polyoxyethylene copolymer with ABA type of polydimethylsiloxane polyether block copolymer.
Key Features and benefits
● SL-4162 is a block co-polymer that can be added to organic components to improve surface properties.
● When used as an additive in organic textile coatings, it imparts antiblocing and sofeness. It also improves the mar resistance of certain coatings.
● Improves wetting, leveling and spread-out.
● Increasing softness, air permeability and moisture permeability; improve abrasion resistance and low temperature a flexibility.
● End blocking glycol contains active hydroxyl group, which is reactive with organic polymers like polyurethane. Therefore, it is chemically reacted in the network and increase hydrolytic stability of the resin.

Levels of Use (additive as supplied)
0.1-0.5% on total formulation as leveling additive.
1-5% as a resin modifier.
